Why should you get to know Big_Dave?

Hi, and thanks for stopping by. I’m laid back, easy going, warm, kind, sensitive, loving, faithful, trusting, tolerant, open minded, forgiving and understanding. I don’t feel my age and think more 30 than 60. I can be shy when I first meet new people, but this evaporates once I get to know them ...honest!!

I like to think of myself as ‘different’, a free thinking guy who’s not always influenced by the ‘normal’, whatever that is. Playing bass guitar in rock bands as a hobby earlier in my life influenced my thinking and it allowed me to see the world from a different perspective.

I have an active and enquiring mind. I’m intelligent and certainly capable of thinking out of the box...people don't need a university education to be intelligent or interesting.

Music is my passion in life. Apart from bass I’ve also played violin, recorder, acoustic guitar and blues harmonica. My 4 years playing violin as a kid allows me the pleasure of listening to classical through to blues and back. However, I’m not too keen on dance and opera.

Bird watching, photography, computers, playing golf, walking and reading also interest me and so much more besides.

Although I've no particular interest in politics I'm left of centre in my thinking and hate social injustice.

I watch football and golf on TV as well as the usual popular dramas(no reality TV and soaps).

I have a beautiful daughter of 21 and 2 cocker spaniel bitches, all staying with my ex wife, but see them regularly. My daughter and my dogs are the love of my life and they return that love in spades.

Unfortunately my income doesn’t support travel at the moment. One desire is to travel the USA in a mobile home, making up the itinerary as I go along. There is always the bus pass of course. I can back pack around Scotland. :-)

I’m looking for my soulmate, someone to love, share life’s ups and downs with, give support to, hold hands with and share cuddles and kisses with.
