I am really delighted that you have taken the trouble to look at my profile! (And for sending a message perhaps!!)

My friends say I am generous, warm-hearted, loyal and kind....and the most important thing is that I am pretty honest and my photographs are totally up to date!

I have many interests, ranging from wide taste in music to fascination with aeroplanes, cars, boats and steam engines - anything that travels I suppose!

I enjoy visiting interesting places at home and abroad; often visiting Canada, to see family and to ski l(although I am only a novice but I really love it!) I also enjoy sailing and I play tennis badly, although not done the latter for a while as I lead a fairly busy life!

I am quite gregarious, fun to be with and enjoy entertaining. I like nothing more than inviting a group of friends round for supper - it's no fun cooking for one! What I don't understand about this mallarky is that I send friendly little messages and people don't even bother to reply - even if it's to say: 'sorry you are too old, too boring, too middle class blah,blah!!!!' (and actually I am none of these!) Just some response would be better than none!

Oh yes, more about me: I spend time reading, playing the piano, painting and generally being creative, and usually need some kind of project.

I am kind of semi-retired, (if that is possible?) but have set up my own business which is leading me in all kinds of directions at the moment...

This is a final attempt at Kindred Spirits and I really hope this will lead me to someone special: a kindred spirit, a best friend, and above all, someone who shares my interests and comes from a similar background - compatibility and chemistry are the keys to success!
